October 20, 2009Its too bad that positive hip hop still struggles to get air play. People like Common, Mos Def, the Roots, and Talib are starting to get the credit they deserve. My Video pick of the week in the Roots- How I got over. Im really tired of hearing about the cars, drugs, guns business. Seriously they are all actors, they arent doing any of that. On that note Imma keep it real and get my a$$ to cla$$. <get it, lol education is a money hungry business too.

If auto-tune should die before I wake
August 24, 2009Just when you thought it was safe to watch MTV, the moment you thought Jay-z murdered auto-tune, the Queen B -Lil’Kim- took a stab at it with her new song titled DOWNLOAD. At least she showed some love to the originator ZAPP and put him in the video. If you think T-pain created that sound, then you must have been born in the 90′s. Think back to that old school Jam “Computer love” or even “California love” for my 2pac fans.
